Holy Moly Donut Shoppe was a fun, engaging branding project for a custom order donut business located in Easley, South Carolina. The client wanted cute, colorful donut imagery that would grab a customer’s attention easily. Playing off of ‘holy’, I added a halo to a pink sprinkled donut, developing an equally detailed complimentary donut for the other ‘O’ of the logo. To give that second ‘O’ its own distinction, I took a bite out of it.

 

With so much detail in the full logo, I created a simplified variation for responsive sizing. The third option, a crest, received two variations with the two donut ‘O’s serving as the heroes along with the light teal and lavender. To compliment the two hero donuts, I developed two additional donut styles to make a pattern and supplemental illustrations.
